Darryl first began working on hardwood floors in 1989. His work included a large range of jobs; from small residential refinishes, to large commercial gyms and malls, restaurants, churches and showrooms as well as Custom Homes. On December 10th, 1996 he opened the doors to his own business, Naturally Elegant Hardwood Floors. Over the years Darryl developed an eye for craftsmanship, and has experience in all types of wood, finishes and the art of custom woodwork. His creative talent enables him a unique place in the industry, as he takes pride in creating custom borders, inlays and medallions. He has enjoyed opportunities through the years reaching out and helping our local community, including installing floors for Albany’s Habitat for Humanity projects, restoring a floor for the Woodburn Art Center and refurbishing the historic floors at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Mt.Angel. Darryl is married and has three children. His passion and hobby is restoring old Mopar Muscle Cars. He can certainly make old and damaged look new and beautiful!
